Can I ask you something?

Will you change for me?
Alas, it's not as easy as counting 1-2-3.
How daunting such a question seems in retrospect,
The gravity of an answer too large for me to neglect!

If I searched through our pasts for an answer, would it make it any easier?
Constantly pondering, wondering if it's some twisted form of a brain teaser.
I'm sorry to admit it but I am too selfish to change for you,
It'll be great if we're still friends but I'll understand if this means we're through.

Life so far~~~

I'm still pinching myself to check if I'm really typing here on my blog after such a long hiatus from it. *pinches* Yup, I'm definitely typing!! I can't even begin to describe my experiences here in the States since my transfer of studies late in 2010. I have experienced a LOT of new things, met new people, gone to few places (lol.. I haven't changed much in that aspect) and matured in more ways than I can express in words.
One of the things I have experienced is knowing and accepting the different stories of people that I have been privileged or fated to meet so far in the US. Some of them have had lasting impact on my life, while others have come and gone like the waves on the sea-side. How I have affected their lives is not known by myself but possibly through inquiry from the said persons. It's amazing how the interaction between such diverse people in a culture that is unique to some of us really brings out the good and bad in ourselves - people choose to conform to social norms, others choosing to rebel against set laws and authorities. I, on the other hand, have constantly been a keen observer to the trends from actions and the related consequences, as I believe that one can learn from past mistakes and improve on the good traits.
Spiritually, I must admit that I have been blessed with some godly brethren who have helped me in my Christian faith, both directly and indirectly. I am uncertain whether the same can be said about me but I hope to be optimistic in this aspect. :-)
Currently, I'm rounding off my studies and hoping to finish strong academically. I have some plans for the future but I choose to entrust them all up to God as He's able to take care of them. I'm off now to work on some assignments due within the next 2 weeks... it's a usual routine for me already. Till I fancy writing in my blog again, Au revoir!!!

Up and deep in thoughts

The clock's showing time to be 3:50am and classes are to begin at 9am.. so why am I up exactly? Well, for a couple of reasons that don't really justify my deprivation of precious hours of sleep. Oh well, I'll remain in thoughts over certain issues for the whole week and hopefully take some actions towards seeing positive results. Cheers and have a great week ahead!!

Breaking out of the Eggshell

Wow!!! It's been ages since I've been here....mind you, I did state a long while back that I would be away but to think I'd keep my word to this extent? *geepers* Anyway, a lot has transpired through out my stay here in Cyber.. the good, bad and just plain fate!! In the end, one can say that I was able to learn a whole lot from all these experiences and I pray that it'll sharpen me to be a better person in life.
For those who haven't gotten the news yet, I'm planning to transfer studies to the United States in the coming weeks... still got some formalities to run through before it becomes official(that includes my farewells). It might come as a shock to some, surprise to others, or better still, prayers answered for the rest of the lot(feel free to identify which category you belong to). I think it falls under the area of fate, guided by God's will and carried out by ME!!
Well, I could go on and on and try to dissipate my very-very-log hiatus from here but I think I'll be pulling the plug here for now. Till next time, Sayonara!!

Holidays so far!!!!

Hi everyone, it sure has been a long while since I was here... hmm, how long by the way? A WHOLE semester. That's LONG!!! Well, I sure needed the time to make some inner changes and carry out lots of things during the last semester. In the end, I can say it all paid out 'cause I had quite enough time doing all the stuffs that I had to do. Enough of that already, let's have a look at how my holidays went for me. Firstly, the exams last semester were quite stressful 'cause I ended up studying close to "last minute" and so I ended up quite stressed up afterwards. So, when the holidays came, I had to relieve myself of all those stress and so, I decided to visit melaka for a couple of days. To say that my stay there was great is an understatement!! It was refreshing and lovely meeting up with friends and fellowshipping with them in various activities and events. Funny though, I ended up parting with some movies of mine but I guess it was worth it in the end. :P After my trip to melaka, I came back to Cyberjaya and moved over(temporarily) to Noah house(mission house) and stayed with my shepherd and other church members. I would say that I sure have also had a wonderful time fellowshipping with them and it's been great getting to know them to this extent. By the way, the reason I couldn't stay back in melaka and join church brethren for the camp was 'cause I had trainings for upcoming MNC this december. About the trainings, I'll say it's been great 'cause we've made tremendous progress and we seem to be having fun as we perform(excluding the fact that it's been tiring). There's still more practices to come and I can only hope for God's strength to press on. Other random happenings would be me hanging out with my friend Henry to watch Arsenal & Liverpool play last weekend at Old Town. Well, our teams ended up winning their respective matches and losing also this week. What an irony!!! Well, that's all for now. Do stay tuned for more updates. Cheers!!!

Glimpses of happiness

*coughs*.... It sure has been quite a while(as I informed before-hand) that I wouldn't update my blog in the coming days. It's exam period and funny that I can even spare the time to update it after so long... hehe. Well, it seems there are a lot of calamities and chaos in the world today, like the cyclone disaster in Myammar and other natural disasters that occured in other nations. It's heart-breaking to know that countless innocent people lost their lives in these recent tragedies and the mortality toll increases everyday. Had I not known better, I would have had a cause to question God for letting all these mishaps to occur but when we look through the scriptures, we clearly see His gracious love to us by fortelling of such tragedies as we draw near to the "End Times". It's also saddening to me whenever I come to know that my friends are going through tough times, which atimes tests their faith in God. I can only encourage them to keep on fighting a good fight and remain rapturable. I guess there's a lot that would take place in melaka and so, there is the need of good character moulding and reassurance of faith in God at ALL times. I'll be sure to keep you all in prayers then. Any other thing that's of note is that I'll be going home for holidays hopefully and will not been online during most of the days in the coming holidays. Reason?? I sure have a lot of acquaintances to make, friends & family relatives to visit and lots of places to visit. Hope to update my blog before going for the trip. Until then, au revoir and Godspeed!!
